The Lemon Diet goes by many different names. The Master Cleanse is a popular name for this diet, and some call it the Maple Syrup Diet. Some even call it the Lemonade Diet.
During these ten days you do not eat any solid foods. You do drink about 6 – 10 servings of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper mixed with water.

Recipe for one serving of the lemon diet:
* 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
* 2 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
* 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
* 10 oz of filtered water
In addition you may drink a sea salt water mixture and herbal laxative tea.
Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
This diet is very effective. Anyone who is determined enough to follow through will lose weight. It has been used by celebrities who have been raving about the Lemon Diet publically.
Beware: most people who try the Lemon Diet/Master Cleanse never complete the ten days.
This diet is not for anyone. It may seem simple and it certainly is fast, but if you are not fully prepared you will fail miserably.
